Signed up on the online wait list with a 45-60 min wait. Table was ready within 30 mins and prior to arrival. But a problem, hosted sat us at the next available table. Decor was relaxing. View was calming. Staff was pleasant and well attentive. Food- Four Friends Grits: grits should have been cooked longer. Chicken well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Chili ranchero sauce set the dish off. Smoked brisket hash and eggs: the brisket was tender and full of flavor and the chili ranchero sauce complimented the beef. Beignets: well balanced texture of slight crisp outside and soft inside. Wild berry preserves 10/10.

Modern and very clean. I sat at the counter as the place was fairly busy and they weren't seating in the upstairs at the time. No tables were open except for the communal table and I dislike those even more then counter seating so I opted for counter. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of personal space and elbow room. As you can see in the pic, copious amounts of area even with condiments. Just a side note, parking is pretty limited so prepare to do a bit of walking, though this district is all sidewalked so shouldn't be any sort of accessibility issues. I interacted with at least three different staff members and all were exceptionally pleasant and customer oriented. Kudos team for keeping such a positive attitude during these trying times! Ok, the food. The menu isn't too small or over loaded and had a good selection whether you are looking for savory or sweet as far as I am concerned. I ordered the "Kitchen Sink" setup as two eggs over medium, maple ham, BBQ potatoes and a pancake. Can't get much simpler than that. I received 2 eggs definitely not medium, bacon not ham, bbq potatoes and a very under done pancake. Now I will usually not abide receiving an order this wrong but I was hungry so I did not protest. That being said, I ate the whole meal including all the potatoes which I rarely complete. Yes, the pancake was quite under done but still very tasty and there wasn't any uncooked albumin in my eggs, also... bacon instead if ham, is that really an issue? Now you may have read BBQ potatoes and thought, "Umm, not at breakfast?" but these things were perfect, not slathered in a barbecue sauce but rather lightly powdered with a BBQ dry seasoning. I thought they complemented the meal perfectly. Who knew? I had coffee as well which I tend to like stronger then most people I interact with and Four Friends java did not disappoint. I expect it was simple drip brewed but it came out smooth, flavorful and lacked the bitterness that sometimes comes with using cheap ground beans. Oh, I almost forgot, they do have alcohol infused drinks available though I did not partake. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely give Four Friends Kitchen another visit even with a couple hiccups.

We had a couple of great breakfasts while out in Colorado. The first was at Four Friends Kitchen in the Central Park neighborhood. This family friendly spot serves up a wide variety of breakfast and lunch offerings including benedicts, omelets, and overnight grits. The southern fried chicken and waffle with apple coleslaw and smoked chili caramel syrup was served as a sandwich and came with a side of fruit ($13.50). This was a very filling and the flavor combinations were amazing, a bit on the spicy side but the caramel flavor really helped keep it balanced. Also loved having pickles on the side, even if not a traditional breakfast item. I would absolutely order this again.

We've been coming to Four Friends Kitchen for many years. In our opinion, it's the best breakfast establishment in Denver. Their gluten free pancakes are also the best by far! My husband loves their Huervos rancheros and my son loves their kid's chocolate chip pancakes. For something different, I tried their yogurt parfait - a medley of Greek yogurt, pecans, bananas, blueberries and strawberries drizzled with maple syrup. I would really love a vegan version of this dish. Note that Four Friends gets extremely busy on Fridays and weekends. Expect a long wait if you visit these days. Be sure to use waitlist. Highly recommended!

I love this little breakfast spot. The staff is friendly. They have the best omelettes in Denver. The coffee is delicious. And it's a super cute space! Every plate coming out of the kitchen looks like a special treat. I was trying not to eat carbs so they allowed me to substitute collard greens. And they had a shrimp and andouille sausage omelette that was amazing. There's a nice long bar where you can get specialty drinks as well as custom juices. It's the best breakfast spot in this part of town, hands down. The staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed this experience and will be back!

Thought this was a cute little kitchen. We went in on a week day morning at around 0840 with a party of 3. We were seated right away and greeted with a smile. By the time we left at 0930, it was much more busy, people were getting put on the wait list. One of the members at our party doesn't eat pork, most breakfast options, especially of the southern variety, include bacon or sausage. They were able to substitute the sausage gravy on her dish for regular hollandaise sauce which made her extremely happy considering most places have a difficult time serving delightful breakfast/brunch dishes without bacon or sausage incorporated. Another surprising delight was the Matcha Martini, $12. Creamy and delish. Not really a hole on the wall or a unique find, but certainly a more tasty breakfast/brunch than others in Denver. PLUS they have their own PARKING, Score

Amazing tiny upscale brunch place that even caters to celiacs like me. Not a lot of tables so be prepared to wait but the food is quite good. The upside: - great coffee - great gluten free pancakes - great collard greens - great breakfast burrito - cool staff - one guy even gave me a coffee for free because we were waiting so long The downside: - long wait times - their estimation of wait times was way off so we waited a lot longer then we even imagined we would Overall though - we loved this place and it had a cool vibe. Also - I don't even like pancakes that much but these were very good.

This place was PACKED! Yet it didn't take long to get a table and that is impressive. The drinks were good but the food was even better! The last time I had beignets they set the stage. So having beignets this time really helped with the experience. These were well baked. The dipping sauces were nice and warm and very flavorful. I was in all. The main meals! ‍ I wasn't expecting for this combination to hit as heavy as it did. The flavors complimented each other and honestly it's at the top of my list as far as breakfast locations in Denver so far. I have to give this place a solid 10/10 highly recommend.
